Scotland’s Place in Europe: Promoting International Cooperation and Understanding
Overview
The Scotland Forum 2025 will be held in Edinburgh from 1–4 September 2025, encompassing a series of events showcasing multiple initiatives. The Forum will convene political leaders, representatives of international organisations, scholars, and members of the business and civil society sectors. This interdisciplinary assembly is designed to foster meaningful dialogue and strengthen collaboration across diverse spheres.
Agenda
Serving as a platform for exchange, the Forum will feature keynote addresses, thematic lectures, and moderated discussions. A primary focus will be the exploration of avenues for deeper engagement between Scottish initiatives and their European counterparts, while simultaneously fostering connections across academic, business, and civic communities.
By bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives, the Forum aims to address pressing global challenges, generating strategic proposals and policy recommendations with both national and global impact.
The Forum will include sessions for the following initiatives:
- The Launch Event of the Nordic Initiative on 1 September
- The Launch Event of the WG10 Initiative on 2 September
- Evening Event at the Scottish Parliament on 2 September at 18:00
- Gala Dinner at Edinburgh Castle on 3 September at 18:00
