Overview

The International Women’s Leadership Summit 2026 will bring together women political leaders, parliamentarians, diplomats, academics and representatives of civil society for a series of discussions and exchanges in Washington, D.C. and New York City. Taking place from 5–9 October 2026, the Summit will provide a platform for participants from different countries and professional backgrounds to exchange perspectives on women’s leadership, diplomacy, economic participation, international cooperation and peace.

Across its programmes in Washington, D.C. and New York City, the Summit will provide opportunities for dialogue, networking, new partnerships and future initiatives. The discussions will focus on women’s leadership in politics, diplomacy, business and civil society, as well as international cooperation and peace. Bringing together participants from different countries and professional backgrounds, the Summit will encourage the exchange of ideas and the development of new connections and initiatives for the future.

Participation in the Summit is open to government and diplomatic officials, academics, artists, representatives of civil society, members of the private sector, and young professionals.

Participant Papers »

The summit Committee encourages academic research and analysis of issues related to the goals of the Conference. The Committee would therefore like to welcome the participants of the event to submit a paper they would like to be considered for presentation at the event  as well as being included in the proposal document that will be issued following the event and will be sent to all governments and leaders of the international community.
