Overview

The Edinburgh AI, Impact Finance & Blockchain Forum 2027 will bring together practitioners and experts working across artificial intelligence, impact finance, blockchain and related technologies. The Forum will examine how developments in these fields can support economic growth, investment, innovation and social progress.

Taking place from 12–14 January 2027 at The National Robotarium, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, the Forum will explore developments in AI and their applications across finance, business and society, alongside emerging investment frameworks and approaches to impact finance. It will also address developments in blockchain, cryptocurrency, FinTech and digital assets, including relevant regulatory and policy questions.

Forum Speakers

The Forum will bring together AI and technology experts, impact fund managers, investors, blockchain and FinTech specialists, policymakers, politicians, representatives of international organisations, business leaders and academics. Discussions will focus on the connections between AI, finance and emerging technologies and their potential contribution to economic and social progress.
